Asia Policy Point: Programs : Japan Information Access Project

Japan remains a core focus for Asia Policy Point. Rigorous research on contemporary Japanese public policy highlights this program. Under this program we sponsor public events, private briefings, and written analyses of critical issues in the US-Japan relationship. Our goal is to provide policy professionals with the best resources to make sound evaluations of Japan

APP works closely with the scholarly community to dissiminate new scholarship on Japan to US policymakers. APP assists scholars in presenting their work in Washington and helps them make their research "policy-relevant."

The Japan section of this website's Resources for Researchers falls under this program. APP's research papers on Japan and The Morse Target are also components of the program. Research for Japan-focused information in our newsletters is another program element.
